Obituary
Steven LaMont Archibald, 60, passed away Sunday, April 2, 2017 at his home in Eagle, Idaho.
Steve was born March 1, 1957, in Soda Springs, the son of LaMont "Bill" and Clara Butler Archibald.
He married Lisa Dawn Stewart August 22, 1975, at Grace, Idaho and were married until her passing on January 13, 2005.
Steve was raised and educated in Soda Springs and Grace. His hobbies and interests were reading, fly fishing, nature photography and watching movies. Steve worked for Monsanto until his retirement then moved to Eagle to be closer to his children and grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Lisa and mother Clara Butler Archibald. He is survived by one son Randy Archibald (Dorice), one daughter Angela Kimmel-Godfrey (Dustin) and five grandchildren; Jordan, Sydney and Bailee Godfrey, Morgan Kimmel and Maya Archibald, all of Meridian. Also surviving is his father, LaMont "Bill" Archibald and two sisters and their spouses, Cheryl Ford (Brad) and Janet Moore (Kyle) both of Soda Springs.
Funeral Services will be conducted on Friday, April 7, 2017 at 11 a.m. at the Sims Funeral Home in Soda Springs. Family will visit with friends on Friday morning from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to service.
In Lieu of flowers the Family suggests donation be made to the Soda Springs Library.
