Susan Elaine Kennedy, 44, passed away August 18, 2010 at her residence in Soda Springs, Idaho.

Susan was born in Covington, Virginia, August 9, 1966, the daughter of Homer Boyd Kennedy, Jr. and Donna Dressler-Miller. She had lived most of her adult life in Utah and Idaho.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Homer B. and Marie Chisholm Kennedy and material grandparents Carl W. and Carrie Wegman Dressler. A step-brother, Nathaniel Kennedy and a nephew, Cory Walters. She is survived by three children, Gregory W. Kennedy and his wife Kay Lou, Soda Springs, ID, Carrie K. Thorpe and James D. Kennedy, Layton, UT; five grandchildren, Bradon Wayne Kennedy, Taleighanah Kennedy, Mackayla Kennedy, Lucas Dee Thorpe; her parents, Donna and Wayne Miller and Homer "Butch" Kennedy, Covington; three sisters, Kathy K. Downey, Covington, Deborah A. Kennedy, Nisula, MI, Sandra K. Frey, Killeen, TX.; one brother, Michael J. Kennedy, Troy, MO; her first husband Larry D. Larson, Layton, UT and her second husband, Mark Dansford, Soda Springs, ID, and a number of aunts, uncles, nieces nephews and special friends.

Memorial services will be held Tuesday, August 24, 2010 at 2:00 PM at Hope Lutheran Church, Soda Springs, ID, with a visitation following the Memorial Service.
