Tamara Lynn Holsten, 48; of Bancroft, passed away in Salt Lake City, Utah from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Tamara was born December 17, 1961 in Phoenix, Arizona the daughter of Harry Dean and Elsie L. Hunsaker Johnston.
She had lived in Bancroft, Idaho for 15 years, Pocatello for 2 years and Soda Springs for 3 years.
She married Vaughn W. Holsten on December 21, 1990 in Bancroft, Idaho. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple on June 10, 1991.
Tamara was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She received her G.E.D. through Idaho State University. She also loved her children and grandchildren very much and enjoyed watching movies with them. She was very active in the outdoors and loved hiking, fishing and most outdoor activities.
She is survived by one son and one daughter, Dan and Dee Holsten of Pocatello, ID; Tamara and Larry French of Pocatello, ID; and her grandchildren; Regan, Ethan, Ryley and Gabe. She is also survived by her mother Elsie Hunsaker Rowland of Soda Springs, ID; and grandmother Emma Hunsaker of Holbrook, AZ; and two brothers and four sisters; JR and Aimee Rowland of Soda Springs, ID; Bobby Johnston of Holbrook, AZ; Cindy and Blaine Farnsworth of Holbrook, AZ; Tina Clouse of Holbrook, AZ; Tiffany Rowland of Soda Springs, ID; Dawnette and Vic Sylvester of Pleasant Grove, UT.
She was preceded in death by her husband Vaughan W. Holsten, her mother and father-in-law Richard and Ila Holsten, and her fathers Dwain Rowland, Harry Dean Johnston.
Services were held on Saturday, September 25, 2010 at Noon at the Bancroft LDS Ward Chapel. Burial was in the Lund Cemetery.
