Taylor T. Bassett, 19, of Soda Springs passed away September 26, 2009 in Soda Springs.
He was born in Soda Springs March 8, 1990 to Jamie Marie Bassett.
He grew up in Soda Springs and was educated in the area. He recently became engaged do Marisa Mejia of Grace, ID.
He enjoyed music, video games, camping, and being with friends and family. He had a great love for all animals, the outdoors and the ocean. He was especially good with young children. He made friends easily and had a great sense of humor. Taylor's greatest desire and most important goal everyday was to better his life.
He is survived by his mother, Jamie of Soda Springs, his sister, Aycy Jade Keller, Denver, Colorado, his grandparents, Ted and Judy Bassett, Soda Springs, Idaho. Aunts & Uncles, Robin & Jon Tabor of West Topsham, Vermont. Wendy "Deenie" and Danny Rasmussen of Lago, Idaho. Spencer Bassett of Nashville, Tennessee, Tammy & David Camptell, Soda Springs, ID and Christina and Tyler Hansen, Seward, Alaska. He is also survived by many cousins and friends and his fiancé, Marisa Mejia.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 1, 2009 at Noon at the Sims Funeral Home in Soda Springs. Friends may call Wednesday evening, from 7-8 p.m. at the Sims Funeral Home and on Thursday morning from 10:30 a.m. to Noon prior to services. Graveside services will be on Monday, October 5, 2009 at Noon at the Fairview Cemetery.
