It is with heavy hearts and deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Taylor Dean Rigby, who left us on August 1, 2026, at the age of 30. Born on September 23, 1995, Taylor touched the lives of many with kindness, generosity, and unwavering warmth.
Taylor was the cherished child of Heidi Rigby and Brooks Rigby, and a beloved brother to Kory Rigby. Those who knew Taylor will remember the special bonds shared with family and the steadfast support that was always given without hesitation. Taylor also shared strong connections with Liz Payne and her children Tayson Brown, Jaxton Brown, and Mia Payne whose companionship brought comfort and joy throughout the years.
Though Taylor’s life was cut short, the legacy lives on through the love and memories held by both family and friends. Taylor’s spirit was shaped and guided by the wise and caring influence of grandparents, Robert Rigby, Carol Rigby, and Lawrence D Mickelson, all of whom preceded Taylor in death. Their memory remained a source of strength.
Taylor’s journey through life was marked by a genuine concern for others, a gentle approach to every challenge, and the gift of laughter that brightened the darkest days. Taylor had a passion for basketball, bow hunting, and especially the Green Bay Packers. These are the qualities that will be most dearly missed, and which will continue to inspire all who loved Taylor.
Taylor Dean Rigby’s absence leaves an irreplaceable void, but it also reminds us to hold tightly to the connections and moments that matter most. Family, friends, and all who knew Taylor join together in mourning, remembering, and celebrating a life well-lived and deeply treasured.
Taylor is also survived by Linda P Mickelson (grandmother), many aunts, uncles, cousins, and many cherished friends.
May Taylor rest peacefully, forever alive in the hearts of those whose lives were touched.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 10, 2026, at 12 noon at the Niter LDS Chapel. Viewing will be held Sunday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Sims Funeral Home and again prior to the service from 10:0-11:30 a.m. at the Niter Church.
