Patricia (Trish) Ann Lucas Hopkins passed away on October 3, 2020 in the comfort of her own home with her family by her side. She fought a long, hard battle with ALS. Trish was born on May 31, 1954 to Emmett and Dorothy Lucas.  She was a long time resident of Soda Springs, ID and married the love of her life, Ralph Hopkins, on September 11, 1970. They were married for 50 years and never left each other's sides. The kind of love they had for each other was very rare.

Trish and Ralph owned a farm together for several years where they raised pigs, sheep, chickens, and horses along with harvesting grain and hay. She was a very hard worker and never complained about anything.

She enjoyed any time spent with her family, including camping, fishing, hunting, and breaking and riding horses. She was a florist for several years and made the most beautiful flower arrangements which in return gave her the opportunity to do all the flower arrangements for each of her children and one of her grandchild's weddings.

She is survived by her loving husband, Ralph Hopkins, her sons Brian (Katie) Hopkins, Nick (Misty) Hopkins, and her daughter Courtney (Roger) Rigby. Sisters Dorothy (Melvin) Tramp, Violet Legarza, Barbara (Curtis) Munson, Crystal (Robert) Leavitt, and brother Michael (Christina) Carr. Grandkids Zack Hopkins, Kelli Hopkins, Shae Hopkins, Torri Correll, Abigail Mortenson, Trenton Hopkins, Kira Hopkins, Bailie Rigby, and Cortney (Shawn)Staples. Great grandkids, Jayden Childers, Bryce Staples, and Adalyn Staples along with several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Emmett Lucas, mother Dorothy Carr, step father Walter Carr, brother David Lee, brother-in-law Michael Legarza.

Viewing will be held on Friday, October 9 ^th , 2020 at 11:00-12:30 am at the Sims Funeral Home with a graveside service to follow at 1:00 pm at the Fairview Cemetery.
