Obituary

Dennis Vance Turner 67 passed away on January 14th 2023 with his family by his side at Caribou Memorial Hospital.

Vance was born on April 10th, 1955 in Ogden UT to Dennis Turner and Lila Mikesell. Vance graduated from Bear Lake High School in 1973. Soon after he graduated he met Debra Ann Saxton and instantly fell in love with her. Debra and Vance got married on January 4th, 1974 in the Ogden UT Temple.

Vance had many interests like basketball, golf, remodeling houses, going on vacations, cooking, and most importantly being with his family. Vance was the most caring, loving, hard working, selfless, and funniest man you ever met and anyone that knows him knows that this is true.

Vance is survived by his wife Debra. His Parents Dennis and VerJean. His kids and their spouses Vandy and Josh, Rocky and Shellie, Heidi, Vanessa and Travis. HIs brothers Lonnie, Steven, Greg, and Karl. His sisters Lorna, Luana, Denise, and Virginia. His Grandkids Sierra, Lexie, Tesla, Jett, Haley, Riynn, Jake, Brayden, Madison, Devany, Chloe, Jack, Caden, Collin, and Chase. His Great-Grandkids Remi, Serenity, Timberlee, and Saige.

Vance was preceded in death by his mother Lila Mikesell.

He was a loving and caring husband, father grandfather, and friend who will be in our hearts and memory forever.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 20, 2023 at 12:00 pm at the Grace Stake Center.  The family will meet with friends from 10:00-11:30 prior to services at the church.  Burial will be in the Grace Cemetery.
