Vera Leone Broadbent Call, 93; of Soda Springs passed away on Thursday, April 25, 2019.

Vera was born n November 14, 1925 in Afton, Wyoming the daughter of Elmer and Jean Allred Rich Broadbent.

She married Desmond Call on October 6, 1944. He passed away on August 9, 1997.She lived most of her life in Grayslake, Idaho with the last 21 years in Soda Springs, Idaho.

Vera was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and had served in various Callings.

She enjoyed reading, embroidering, crocheting, cooking and word puzzles. She also enjoyed spending time with family and friends and her dog.

She is survived by two sons and two daughters, Lance and Sharida Call of Preston, ID, Russ and Linda Call of Soda Springs, ID, Emily and the late Glade Tippets of Soda Springs, ID, Kathy Call of Soda Springs, ID. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 25 ½ great-grandchildren and one brother Norville Broadbent of Kent, WA. She was preceded in death by her husband, two brothers, Wayne Broadbent and Buhl Broadbent and a sister Lorna Calton and a son-in-law Glade Tippets.

Services will be held on Wednesday, May 1 at 11 a.m. at the Soda Springs 1st Ward Chapel (361 S. 3rd E.). Family will visit with friends on Wednesday morning at the Church from 9-10:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery in Soda Springs.
