Vera C. Homer, 94; passed away on Monday, February 24, 2020 in Pocatello, ID.

Vera was born in Long Beach, California, an identical twin, to Dilbert Champagne and Cecil (Dolly) Behrend. She was always on the go. To say she was a force of nature, would be an understatement.

She was feisty, sassy, and a perfectionist in everything she did. Baking was her passion and she could always be found in the kitchen making some delectable treat.

She excelled at bowling, doing well enough to be on the high five bowling team. She was a master quilter; so precise with every stitch.

She spent her life in the food industry, from waitressing, to cooking, to baking. She made many lifelong friends through that endeavor. There was no quit in her, and she worked until the ripe age of 80.

Most of all she loved her family. She was blessed with five children, Cheri Henderson (Pocatello), Linda Blackburn (Pocatello), Steven Storrs (deceased), Jeanne Boeger (deceased), and Becky Haderlie (Pocatello). She was further blessed with 13 grandchildren, Kimberly Henderson, Mike Henderson, Cinda Boeger, Tanny Boeger, Kyle Boeger, Amanda Blackburn, Misty Zamora, Amber Pitcher, Stormy Evans, Dillon Haderlie, David Storrs, Chelsie Storrs, and Cody Storrs. She also had 19 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Earl Homer, 2 children, and all but one of her siblings.

The family would like to thank Caring Hearts for the care and compassion given to Vera.

A celebration of life will be scheduled for a later date.
