Obituary

Virginia Wireman Manhart, formerly of Thatcher, ID, passed away Thursday, Feb 23,2012 at the age of 67, in Meridian, ID. Virginia was born to Joseph and Ethel Wireman Mar 9, 1944. They lived in Thatcher on the family farm. Her father passed away in 1946 and in 1950 Ethel moved the family to McCall and then to Weiser where Virginia graduated from High School in 1962. She married Clifford Manhart of Thatcher in 1963. Clifford passed away in 2008, at which time Virginia moved to Priest River, ID. She remained there until health problems caused her to move to Meridian, ID to live with her daughter. Virginia is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Ethel Wireman; husband, Clifford Manhart; sister, Betty Jo Manhart; brother, Ray Wireman; and grandsons Trent and Stephen Manhart. She is survived by her brother, Kay Wireman of Henderson, NV; brother, Don Wireman of Las Vegas, NV; daughter ,Tina DeMaree of Meridian, ID; and stepsons Dennis Manhart of Thatcher, ID; Dean Manhart of Nampa, ID; Lynn Manhart of Orem, UT; Larry Manhart of Pocatello, ID; Kevin Manhart of Idaho Falls, ID; and Kelly Manhart of Nampa, ID. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 40 great grandchildren. Her family wishes to extend a special thank you to all her friends. Especially the many people of Thatcher that were special to her (too many to name!), Gean Mickelson for his years of love and companionship, Gary and Linda Go and John and Candy Nelson for all the love, support, and gas for all those trips to Spokane! And to the wonderful people at the Riverside Café in Old Town, ID; you were her second family and she loved you. Thanks for the memories. Services will be held on Wednesday, February 29, 2012 at 11 a.m. at the Thatcher-Williams Ward Chapel in Niter. The family will visit with friends on Tuesday evening from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Church and also on Wednesday morning from 10 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at the church prior to services. Burial will be at the Grace Cemetery. Listen to Funeral Services.
