Warren Parke Lloyd, 88, of Bancroft, Idaho, passed away on Wednesday, June 28, 2017, at Edgewood Assisted Living in Soda Springs. Warren was born April 4, 1929, in Soda Springs, Idaho, to John Lea and Hortense Parke Lloyd. Warren lived five years in Ivans on the Idaho Ranch, and then his family moved to the farm in Lund near Bancroft, Idaho, where he would live the rest of his life. He was graduated from North Gem High School and attended Brigham Young University. He married Jennie LaRue Goodfellow on November 5, 1954, in the Logan, Utah, LDS temple. At an early age Warren developed a love for horses. When he was young, not only did he work the land with a team of horses, he enjoyed racing his most favorite and fastest horses with his neighbors. He trained his last horse when he was 75 years old. Warren enjoyed riding motorcycles in the summer and snowmobiles in the winter with family and friends. He purchased the family farm from his father after he was married. He raised various crops, milked cows, drove school bus for 13 years, and was the water master for the North Extension and West Branch Canal companies for a combined 30 years. Warren is survived by his children: Bonnie and Morris Bingham of Powder Springs, GA; Calvin and Kimberly Lloyd of Bancroft, ID; Loralee and Val Belk of Pingree, ID; and Brenda and Brett Welker of Pocatello, ID. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents; Jennie, his wife of 57 years; brothers Lyman, Joseph, Clinton, Alton, Clarence, and Horace Lloyd; sisters Hortense Yost and Leah Warner Stone; and one great-granddaughter, Aurora Belk. Services will be held on Wednesday, July 5, 2017, at 11 a.m. in the Grace LDS Stake Center. The family will visit with friends on Wednesday morning from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the church prior to the service. Burial will be in the Grace Cemetery. listen to service
