William "Bill" Metcalfe, 68, of Soda Springs, Idaho passed away on Friday, November 3, 2017. Bill was born on December 16, 1948 in Hyde Cheshire, England the son of William and Mary Elizabeth May Collins Metcalfe. He lived in Hyde Cheshire England for 27 years. Bill married Valerie Fletcher in 1968 in England. She passed away on March 31, 2014. He lived in Cornish, Utah for a year before moving to Preston, Idaho where they lived or 3 years. They then moved to Soda Springs, Idaho where they have lived since. Bill worked for Monsanto Co. where he retired from. He enjoyed fishing, camping, hunting and about any other outdoor activities. He loved his family and spending time with them and also his dog Hoochie. Bill is survived by his three daughters, Debra Jane Metcalfe Kladis of Soda Springs, ID, Tracy and Brandon Cardon of Benson, UT, Donna Marie and Scott Shaw of Soda Springs, ID. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren, a sister Hilary and John D. Pitcher of Cornish, UT. He was preceded in death by his wife Valerie and his parents William and May Metcalfe and a brother Ian Metcalfe. Services will be held on Saturday, November 11 at 11 a.m. at the Hooper LDS Chapel. Family will visit with friends Friday 6-7 p.m. at the Funeral Home and Saturday 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the Church prior to services. Burial will be in the Cornish, Utah Cemetery. Listen to service
