Our beloved Mother/Grandmother, Wilma Olorenshaw Simonson, 93. left this mortal life, Tuesday, January 18, 2022, in Pocatello, ID.

She was born November, 25, 1928, in Bench, Idaho, to James T. and Lona Marie Swensen Olorenshaw. She was raised and educated in Lago, Thatcher, and graduated from Grace High School.

She attended LDS business college in Salt Lake City, and worked for Woolen Mills there as a bookkeeper. She then returned to Grace and worked for Grace Hardware.

After World War II, Wilma met and married Von N. Simonson, on December 2, 1948, in Preston, Idaho. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Logan, Utah Temple.

They started their life together North of Grace on the family farm, in Central, ID.

She spent her days doing what she loved; raising 4 children, a large garden of vegetables, fruit, and always had an immaculate yard with beautiful flowers.

She was also very instrumental in managing the family farm while Von worked full time at Monsanto.

Her hobbies included, sewing, cooking, candy making, gardening and yard work. Also crocheting, embroidery, and quilt making. Most of all, her family was her main focus in life.

Wilma is survived by her children, Paula (Terry) Larson, of Pocatello, ID, Brent (Kristi) Simonson, of St George, UT, Linda (Randy) Hubbard, Soda Springs, ID, Eric (Eva Jean) Simonson, Grace, ID. She is survived by 17 grandchildren and 58 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Von, a stillborn daughter, two brothers, and a great grandson.

Funeral services will be held at noon, Saturday, January 22, 2022, at the Grace Stake Center. Family can visit with friends, Saturday morning from 10 to 11:30 am. at the Grace Stake Center prior to the services. Interment will be at the Grace Idaho Cemetery.
